The photo is not exposed directly to the Instax film when it is taken, but the image is first saved via the camera sensor. Depending on the camera setting, the image can be automatically output after recording, or you can first edit the images on the camera display.
The internal memory is big enough for 50 shots, if you want to save more pictures you can optionally extend this with a micro SD card (each 1 GB can store about 1000 pictures).
In this way, it is also possible to bring photos not photographed with SQ10 to the camera and use them like a kind of Instax printer.
